Welcome aboard! Meet Chahrazed Labba, new member of the Bird team

 

Every year, Loria’s teams strengthen with the arrival of new researchers and associate professors. We welcome them and invite you to take a few minutes to learn about their careers and projects!

Chahrazed Labba has joined the Loria as a permanent member in September 2024. She is an Associate Professor at the INSPÉ, University of Lorraine, and conducts her research within the Loria’s Bird team.

As an expert in artificial intelligence, she is particularly interested in federated machine learning techniques for processing decentralized data, and their application in interdisciplinary research.

She began her career in Tunisia, studying at the Computer Science National School (ENSI). She then conducted a thesis at the Research Laboratory for Software Engineering, Distributed Applications, Decision Support Systems and Intelligent Imaging in Tunisia. In France, she has collaborated with teams in Grenoble, Paris and Nancy.
