La matinée d’étude se déroulera le mardi 8 septembre de 8h45 à 12h00 sur le campus Lettres et Sciences Humaines dans la salle A104. L’objectif de cet événement est de proposer des présentations et un temps d’échanges autour de travaux sur des corpus issus des réseaux sociaux. Les présentations seront en anglais.
Des doctorantes et doctorants de la communauté OLKi (Open Language and Knowledge for citizens) présenteront leur travaux :
- Tomara GOTKOVA (ATILF) – Using the social networks Twitter and Reddit as a reference corpus for exploring lay people communication on environmental issues
- Nicolas DANTE (IECL) – Persistence of information on social networks
- Leonardo SANNA (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy) – Embedded semiospheres: a semio-linguistic approach to echo chambers and filter bubbles on Facebook and Telegram using word2vec and doc2vec
- Marie TOMASZEWSKI (CREM) – The treatment of hate speech on Twitter and Youtube – the issues raised by the discourse analysis method applied to social network due to the algorithms’ opacity
- Tulika BOSE (Loria) – Topic modeling and detection of online hate speech
- Ashwin Geet D’SA (Loria) – Classification of hate speech using deep neural networks

The study session on social networks corpora will take place Tuesday 8 September from 8.45am to 12.00pm on the Humanities and Social Sciences campus in room A104. The main goal is allow to scientists working on data from social networks to interact, to exchange about their challenges and to share their good practices. Presentations will be in English.
