The first euROBIN coopetition will take place from 25 to 28 November in Nancy.
This event will offer to the participants three main areas of research, each associated with a specific challenge.
- The first challenge is industrial and aims to manipulate objects using a robotic arm. This challenge could be illustrated by manipulating a voltmeter to measure the voltage in a box.
- The second challenge is called ‘outdoor’. It aims to test the capabilities of drones and legged robots in an outdoor environment.
- Finally, the last challenge aims to develop robots capable of interacting in domestic environments. This will be done by achieving goals such as opening a fridge or placing an object in a drawer.
