Who I am

I'm a full-time tenured INRIA researcher (Chargé de Recherche, in French) at INRIA, in Nancy, France, as a member of the LORIA research center (UMR 7503) and its TRIO project. I was one of the two people who created and implemented SmartEiffel, The GNU Eiffel Compiler (formerly SmallEiffel).
My research topics cover compilation, memory management, real-time and embedded systems. I'm currently focusing on low power and low energy.
I'm leader for the software part of the Open-PEOPLE (Open Power and Energy Optimization PLatform and Estimator) project, and for the VITRAIL (Advanced, Immersive and Real-Time Visualisation Software) project.
