Tech Helper's Help aka. Copy (text) Content to Clipboard

This program allows you to copy the whole content of a text file to the Windows clipboard. It's a great help if you work a lot with template texts stored in files. The original idea came from a friend, who works as tech. helper, and he has to send e-mails all day to stupid clients. He has some template answers, but until now he had to open these files, select the whole text, and copy their content to the clipboard. With this prg. it can be much more simple: just associate a file extension (for instance .ccc) with this program, and then double-click on a text file (which has this extension). Its content will be copied automatically to the clipboard.

You can download the source and its components here.

Install ( Top )
Just unpack it. You get the source (I used Dev-C++ during the development) and the binary too (ccc.exe). Associate a file extension (I suggest using ".ccc" -- copy content to clipboard) with ccc.exe and you are done. Usage: add .ccc extension to your text files, and just double-click on them. Then paste the text wherever you want.

• Copy Text to Clipboard. The real base. Tech Helper's Help is also based on it. CTC is a console application that copies its first argument to the Windows clipboard.


• Copy Path to Clipboard. Also based on CTC. Copies the current directory's path to the clipboard. If a parameter (file name) is given, it is also added to the directory's path. If you use Total Commander (or a similar clone), the work with this prg. can be more efficient.
