ESSLLI is the annual summer school in Logic, Language and Information organized by FOLLI.
The ESSLLI Student Session has been organized for 11 years attracting young researchers from around the world.

This year Springer offers prizes in "Best Student Paper in the Oral Session" and "Best Student Paper in the Poster Session" nominations. The winners of the prizes can choose 500 euros worth of Springer books.

The Student Session is over
Here are the winners of the prizes and the runners up:
- Best Student Paper in the Oral Session.
Thomas Icard, Towards An Alternative Proof Of Solovay's Arithmetical Completeness Theorem.
- 2nd place. Sabine Gründer, Aspectual Shift via Supervaluation.
- 3rd place. Márta Peredy, Obligatory adjuncts in weak creation events.
- Best Student Paper in the Poster Session.
Laia Mayol, Acquisition of Irregular Patterns in Spanish Verbal Morphology.
- 2nd place. Geogrgiana Dinu, Memory-based Word Sense Disambiguation for Romanian with Automatic Feature Selection.
- 3rd place. Manuel Kirschner, Applying a Focus Tree Model of Dialogue Context to Interactive Question Answering.
The winner of the Cognitive Science Society Prize will be announced later.

- 17 August. The Student Session is over! The orginizers are happy that they managed to do it ;-) You can see the names of the winners of prizes above on this page. The Cognitive Science Socety prize has not yet been attributed, but, please, check the site for updates.
- 27 June. You can now consult the program and the proceedings (pdf).
- 23 April. Congratulations to authors whose papers were accepted! You can find instructions for producing the final version of your paper and presentation/poster guidelines here.
- 22 March. Springer offers prizes for the Student Session.
- 12 February. The deadline was extended till February 18. Read the updated Call for papers.
- 3 November. Call for papers released.
- 6 October. Site is up.
