Note that these fares are often unknown to other companies or travel agencies. Thus, if you want to benefit from them, you may have to contact the aforementioned companies directly. Moreover, the number of places being limited, early booking is recommended.
Of course, slightly changing the dates may have an important impact on the fare. On Air France the fare of 638 EUR is available for a round trip from Paris to Reunion from Sep 7 to Sep 15. In order to have a lower fare you have to spend in La Reunion a night of Saturday/Sunday.
Instead of traveling via Paris, it is also possible to travel via Mauritius.
Saint Denis has also direct connections provided by Air Austral with Africa (Johannesburg, Harare, Nairobi) and neighbouring islands (Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles).
Australia (Melbourne, Perth), India
(Bombay, Madras,
New Delhi) and South-eastern Asia (Hong
Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore) have connections to Reunion via Mauritius
on Air Mauritius which also
provides interesting connection to Africa. However their flights, especially
from Australia are often fully booked half a year in advance.
The conference will be held in the hotels Les Créoles and Le Récif which are located in front of each other in Hermitage (a part of St. Gilles). The main conference room is situated in Le Récif.

The prices in Les Créoles and La Récif are approximately 46 EUR a night per person occupying a room alone and 31 EUR a night per person for those who share a double room. These prices include breakfast.
In order to book a room in Le Récif or Les Créoles fill the registration and hotel booking form (.ps, .pdf) and fax it to Teodor Knapik, fax +262 262 93 82 60 (from France 02 62 93 82 60).
The registration desk will be open in Hotel le Récif on Sunday, September 8, 15:00-18:00, Monday, September 9, 9:00-12:30 and 14:00-18:00, and Tuesday, September 10, 9:00-12:30.
