Please note that this page is not intended to work in Navigator 4.x. This site explores cutting edge of HTML+CSS design, and Navigator 4.x is, at four years and counting, just too old to keep up with most things that are done here. Again, there's nothing wrong with Navigator 4.x, but you probably don't want to use it in this area. Consider it a friendly warning.

Welcome

I am a phd student with the Talaris team at the INRIA Nancy, Grand-Est research center based in Nancy in France.

Research

The subject of my PhD thesis is to investigate how ontological relations are expressed in texts - in English, French and other Languages. My advisors are Claire Gardent and Samuel Cruz-Lara.

I am also interested in other aspects of (computational) lexical semantics, as for eg. the syntax-semantics interface and verb classification, lexical acquisition, synonymy.

Employment

I am employed by the INRIA to work on the SEMbySEM project. The SEMbySEM project is a European project whose aim it is to provide open source software dedicated to the semantic management and monitoring of systems. The contribution of the Talaris team consists in addressing the linguistic requirements: how to represent the ontological objects in language - in English and in the other participants' languages.
