Resume

I am researcher at INRIA Nancy-Grand Est which is a research unit belonging to INRIA. I work in TRIO team.

I licentiated in 1998 in Mathematics and Computer Science from University Dunarea de Jos, Romania. In 2000 I got my MSc in Physics from University Dunarea de Jos. In 2004 I completed my PhD in Computer Science at University Paris XI, France and the thesis was prepared at INRIA Rocquencourt, France in AOSTE team. I used to be a Junior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics of University "Dunarea de Jos" from 1998 to 2000, and from 2001 to 2004 I joined (also as a Junior Lecturer) the Computer Science Department Science of University Paris V, France. I had a Research Fellow position at IPP-Hurray Research Group of ISEP, Portugal in 2005. I was a FNRS postdoctoral researcher at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles in the Computer Science Department in 2006. From 2006 to 2008 I held a position of Associate Assistant Professor at Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine in the Computer Science Department.

I am currently working on statistical/probabilistic approaches for distributed real-time systems, but my research interests are also :

• Real-time scheduling (uniprocessor and multiprocessor). Latency constraints;
• Operational research in general, specially scheduling.

Our team hosts next year the 8th IEEE International Workshop on Factory Communication Systems from May 18th to May 21st, 2010 (WFCS 2010). The submission deadline of regular papers is November 13th, 2009.
