OrphaMine: a tool to learn more about rare diseases

Like Dr. House in the series of the same name, doctors sometimes come up against enigmas when faced with certain pathologies. The aim of the OrphaMine platform developed as part of the ANR Hybride project is to increase specialists' understanding of rare diseases. The platform has been tested in-house and will soon be offered to a broader panel made up of doctors, researchers and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry.

After 4 years of work, Sylvain Lefebvre and his Shapeforge project have obtained a European Research Council grant for the pre-commercialization of the IceSL software. This tool facilitates the modelling of objects for subsequent 3D print-outs.

A new generation collaborative platform

In the framework of the French Investissements d’Avenir (Investments For The Future) programme, the French government is supporting the OpenPaas::NG project with 10.7M€ of funding. This project, also funded by Bpifrance and led by Linagora, is run in partnership with the Coast team for the research segment, its aim being to provide a complete new generation virtual office solution for companies and public administration offices.
