Le mardi 5 novembre à 15h, en salle A006, aura lieu le séminaire du département 4, Traitement Automatique des Langues et des Connaissances. Mathieu Lafourcade du LIRMM (Montpellier) fera un exposé ayant pour titre : “Games with a purpose for building lexical resources: the JeuxDeMots project”.
A quite novel approaches to collaboratively creating language resources in recent years is to use online games to collect and validate data. We focus on the JeuxDeMots projects which aims at building a lexico-semantic network. We will illustrate our talk with around half a dozen games and we will discuss some key issues in using a gaming approach, including task design, player motivation and data quality.
Since September 2007, more than 4 million relations between 300,000 termes have been collected.
